Not quite a tango, but its close, Latin cousin (from an early 20th century North American perspective) the so-called “Apache” dance and a companion piece to 00087 “Popeye (almost) Tangos with Bluto, 1934 [still taken from cartoon]”

Interestingly, each dancer only attacks the other while leading – and the lead swaps – 21st century queer tango “intercambio” fashion – throughout their same-sex couple dancing.
